Spot margin trading (Web)

Spot margin trading allows you to trade using borrowed funds. By using certain crypto as collateral, you can borrow assets to open long or short positions and potentially increase your returns.

In Unified account mode on OKX, once you open a spot margin position, the system creates a corresponding long or short position. You can track the unrealized profit or loss based on market price movements.

Borrowed assets are recorded as liabilities under your position and can’t be transferred out. To fully close the position, you must repay the liabilities.
